About Dan

I am a largely self taught painter and have enjoyed drawing and painting for as long as I can remember.

The whole visual world has a 'gravity' for me that draws me continually to see everything around me as color, light and shadow, shapes and their relationships, design within design.

I love the process of drawing and painting from the first idea, through building the composition and layout, to watching the work grow in the making.

I have also found over the years that I enjoy commissions because they allow an opportunity to communicate with people about their vision and to bring it to life.

I have been painting Murals, Portraits, Pet Portraits for several years now and the work has been very rewarding.
