Dan Hollingshead

I am a largely self taught painter and have enjoyed drawing and painting for as long as I can remember.

The whole visual world has a 'gravity' for me that draws me continually to see the world as color, light and shadow, shapes and their relationships, design within design.

I love working with paint, mixing paint, layering paint, experimenting with paint, and watching paintings grow in the making.

I grew up in Kansas and have lived on the northern Front Range of Colorado for the last twelve years. To me the mountains still look different every day and sometimes every hour.
